  • Fort Smith needs higher wages. I will work as a local advocate to bring State and Federal governments together to deliver sector-specific wage increases that attract new professionals and protect wage entitlements, keeping good workers here in Arkansas. These targeted increases will act as a broad economic stimulus, strengthening healthcare, aged care, and education.

I’ll focus on lowering everyday costs by investing in better roads and infrastructure, keeping rates fair, and supporting affordable utilities. I support right-sized housing for new families and seniors, and transitional housing to ease pressure on the broader housing market — ensuring growth works for locals first.

  • Arkansas needs bold initiatives to improve our access to healthcare. No Arkansan should choose between food and medicine. The State Essential Medicines Program uses our buying power to lower prices on life-saving drugs; keeping families healthy, rural hospitals open, and costs down without raising taxes

  • Reliable public transit means access to jobs, healthcare, and community. I support modern, efficient transit systems through smart public-private partnerships that protect workers, expand routes, and treat mobility as a public good.

  • Fort Smith can lead with smart growth. I support developing the Fort Chaffee Innovation Precinct as a dedicated hub for tech and innovation, upgrading our airport and attracting new flights to better connect us to opportunity, and expanding eco-tourism to harness the power of the Natural State while creating local jobs.

  • Preventing overpopulation is compassionate and cost-effective. I support spay and neuter voucher programs to reduce shelter overcrowding, support animal welfare groups, and keep pets healthy and in homes.

  • I believe in a Fort Smith where everyone belongs. I’ll advocate for an inclusive city that welcomes everyone, invest in arts and culture, and strengthen education by supporting after-school arts programs that give young people safe, creative spaces to thrive.
